Load up the kids and get ready to attend one of the biggest kids showcases in Virginia. The Richmond Kids Expo is coming to the Richmond International Raceway on Saturday, February 23. Hundreds of exhibitors and companies that cater to families, kids of all ages and babies will be on hand to show you new products, ideas and fun. You can spend an entire day at this yearly event.
Things To Do at the Richmond Kids Expo
Your whole family will find plenty of things to do when you attend the upcoming Richmond Kids Expo. You will find products and services are geared for families with children through pre-teen age. Even if you are expecting a baby, you will find interesting products and services for your new baby. Each year the Expo brings tons of hands-on kids activities, raffle drawings and prizes along with great entertainment all day long. Scheduled events for the day include shopping at the merchants that are there for you, information and sign ups for summer programs, workshops and camps for all ages, health and wellness screenings for the whole family, child identification, petting zoo, crime prevention information and education, and arts and crafts. In addition, entertain the kids with live stage performances, a diaper dash, mad science, and Stuff-N-Fluff workshops.
Who Will Be at the Richmond Kids Expo

Scheduled companies and vendors include KinderCare, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Richmond, Minnieland, Regal Cinemas, Babies R Us, Radio Disney, Air Tran and many more. Last year over 90 business and organizations attended this event bringing something for everyone. Many of the businesses and sponsors will have prize drawings throughout the day.
If this sounds like something you want to do with your family, then mark it on your calendar. This year’s event will be held at the Richmond International Raceway. The expo will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. All events are held indoors, so don’t worry about the weather. Admission is $6 for adults, $2 for kids ages 2-12 and free for kids under two. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Food, drinks and other concessions will be available for purchase.
